| This Sadie |

|
| This is Sally |

|
These two are Sadie and Sally, Sadie is Sally's mother. They were dropped off in the country last winter. They have been
in my rescue house since then. Sadie is 18mo old and Sally is about a year old. The are very socialized and affectionate but
not demanding. They have all shots and been spayed, very good with children and other animals. These 2 girls need to stay
together, in a permanent home. Please call 989-687-2763
| This is Sweetie |

|
This is Sweetie, she is two and a half and a special needs cat. Last January Sweetie was going up and down country
roads looking for a home. She was taken into a home but the kids were allergic. She was accepted into my rescue home. However
the cold winter had damaged her voice. She has a squeal to her purr and a loud snore when she sleeps. She is very undemanding
and quiet. She loves to be petted. She has had all shots, spayed and all tests. She does well with children, and other cats
and dogs. She would loved to have her own permanent home. Please call 989-687-2763
| Blondie |

|
Blondie is a 3 yr. old neutered male. He is a small, doll-faced himalayan. He is a dominant male and would do best in an
only cat home or with a nonagressive female cat. He is very loving and affectionate. He loves children. Blondie requires regular
grooming. When rescued 2 years ago he was living in a barn with a severe eye infection. His eyes are fine, but will need follow-up
for the rest of his life. Blondie loves to spend alot of time with people and loves to play. Blondie has been here for awhile,
but really needs to get a permanent loving home. Please call Sandra 989-687-2763
(I met Blondie the other day, what a sweetheart and very beautiful. He is a very loving affectionate boy. Currently,
he lives with a lot of other cats and another dominate male. He would really do much better if he lived in a quiet calm home.
A new home may take an adjustment period for him but would be really good for him. The new adopters need to be calm, patient
and knowledgeable about himalayans. Barb)

| Yurek and Angel in the background |

|
| Yurek again |

|
| This is Cookie |
Yurek (cream+white siamese mix) and his two sisters, Cookie (tortoiseshell calico) and Angel (brown tabby) are probably
16-or-so months old, were rescued after dog attack about a year ago . The girls had been bitten, but Yurek's skin had
been peeled back from his neck/chest/shoulder. They have recovered completely, have been spayed/neutered, and have
not been outside since rescue.
Yurek has vivid blue eyes; he is the most curious/adventurous (this guy opens drawers!) and carries his toys
around. Cookie's eyes are golden, she is nearly as boisterous as Yurek even though she's almost half his size. Angel is
the most quiet, cautious, probably remembers the attack more than the other two; her eyes are green. All three are energetic,
rough-and-tumble playful, but so far need to sleep either with each other or with a person. I would prefer they stay
together but they *may* do well separately in the right environment--specifically of course, no dogs, and preferably
no children as they will not take rough treatment of any sort without fighting back. These kids are not destructive,
have not damaged furniture, draperies, carpeting--although they do "stretch" their claws by pulling on the carpet.
Such "stretching" of the claws is a primary and instinctual means of self-assurance, bolstering the self-confidence,
and expressing well-being; it's one of the ways a cat maintains its "catness" and the only way it can do that is if it *has*
claws. Claws can be trimmed, they don't have to be removed! especially when the cat has survived what these three have
survived! So I ask that these (or any of the cats I've rescued) *not* be declawed and, if for any reason the new
home doesn't work out, I would like them back! :)
Cookie is petite, very "girl," loves attention, belly-rubs, and to snuggle, but plays hard as well--has the beginnings
of a real alpha personality: She insists that her bowl be the first one filled and won't share her window
ledge when the sun's there (good thing there are three windows!), but she's the first to wash her brother's and sister's
faces during morning wash-ups, and deliberately shares her fuzzy mice (as well as the occasionally captured fly :(
She does play rough with her big bear of a brother, but he knows enough not to push her too far. Angel was the
last of the three to willingly accept handling after the attack, still is cautious but knows when you're talking to her directly
and appreciates it. She waits until the other two are well into their meals before eating slowly and quietly herself. While Yurek
and Cookie are fast partners in whatever is going on, Angel often holds back until she is sure what the game is, and
if at any point she can't see the other two, she makes it her urgent business to find them and see what's up. She
is the most "needy" of the three, but the least inclined to ask for anything, and she holds her own perfectly well
at playtime. Contact Penney for adoption info and/or more info coppernikle@mac.com
| Sophie available too, contact Penney for more info |

|
| She lives outside but would appreciate a warm cozy home of her own, has beautiful green eyes |

|
| Sophie is a loving gentle girl |
Sophie (grey short-haired tabby, bright green eyes)
Sophie is about a year old, independent and very vocal,
loves attention, and has been spayed. She doesn't like to be picked up/held, but insists she be petted and talked-to. She
grew up with two brothers and three younger half-brothers--the whole family following Mom to the shelter of my front porch
early last winter, where they have since stayed--and while she loves tag/running games, she doesn't care much for the rough-and-tumble
"boy" stuff. Sophie will do well with one other cat for company, especially a kitten, but may be demanding of companionship
if alone and is terrified of dogs. She will feel safer as an inside cat unless the outdoors area is well-fenced with plenty
of trees/bushes, places to explore, and safe sunshiney spots to nap in.

| Pepper is available soon-contact Penney |
Pepper (or Piper!) (short-haired
grey tabby)
This little one is young enough (about 5 months) to be renamed--I've
been calling him Pepper or Piper--and although he has let me touch/pet him only this week, he is suddenly exTREMELY affectionate!
He loves attention, loves to race and rough-and-tumble with the bigger cats--including sprints up trees. He is
young and eager enough to adapt to almost anything--except dogs! (it was thanks to a dog that he learned to climb trees in
the first place, and it took the better part of a day to coax him down). He will do well by himself or with other cats,
so long as he can have lots of attention by himself too. This little guy is going to be a special companion for someone!
